The Western podcast is finally back! As we come in headstrong for our fourth season in 2021, our editorial writer Nicole Cadelina will be hosting a new episode every week, with a fresh line-up of guests to meet and greet.

Kickstarting the new season is our thought-provoking interview with emerging artist Raven Pajarillaga. A creative at heart from a very young age, Raven shares some of his personal philosophies in this debut episode. He also elaborates on what it means to rep the West on canvas, and the meaning behind his most poignant painting, By Chance in the West, which was nominated for the Blacktown Art Prize in 2020.

Following this, Nicole will interview Gerard Cabellon, an up-and-coming filmmaker and professional breakdancer whose short film, The Prodigal Son, was screened as a part of the Blacktown Arts Short Films series in 2020. Nicole will also be having a heart-to-heart with Lamisa Haque, one of the co-founders of the intersectional feminist online platform The Pvblication, and Jade Diaz, a non-binary Filipinx make-up artist based in Western Sydney.

Our podcast and latest episodeS is available to listen to on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and SoundCloud.
